
Last weekend, we had a little family reunion in Gatlinburg, TN. We drove up Friday, and came home Tuesday, so it was a very nice break for all of us. For the first time, I saw "small town" north Georgia, which I thought would be a scary, banjo-playing place, but in fact it was quite beautiful. We stayed in a cabin and built fires every night, made s'mores, hiked, ate, visited a haunted house, and just hung out. Wonderful! If you ever have a chance to visit the Great Smoky Mountains in fall, please do. It's worth the drive.
